Chase the things that give you hope, happiness and a glimpse of a better life. Chase the things that make you want to be a better person. Chase the things that inspire you to think, create and live joyfully. And that is exactly what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/doorva15\/?hl=en\">Doorva Sharma<\/a> did when she decided, as a single mother of two children, to keep running her budding business and chasing after her dreams. What followed were a series of applaudable accomplishments and realised dreams that are sure to inspire every one of us.<\/p>\n<h2>A Dream Deferred<\/h2>\n<p>A mother to two young children, Doorva had to quit her lucrative job at a high-profile school because raising her small children was no easy feat. She put her own creative growth on halt for her children and waited until they were older. When they were finally old enough, Doorva decided to start her very own daycare centre for children, so that no other mother would have to leave her job because of young children.<\/p>\n<h2>A Dream That Challenges<\/h2>\n<p>Her daycare centre, \u2018Toddler\u2019s Den\u2019 was the very first of its kind in Jaipur. As a single mother with two children, Doorva had to work doubly hard to maintain her business and convince parents to trust her with their children. Back then, the concept of a daycare was foreign in Jaipur, and with the culture of living in joint families, people were hesitant to leave their children at a daycare. Doorva and her dedicated team put in a lot of hard work to convince parents, and now they are a renowned name in the industry.<\/p>\n<h2>Chasing Bigger Dreams<\/h2>\n<p>Doorva soon started her own NGO \u2018WIN: Women In Need\u2019 a few years ago, for which she was awarded by the hon&#8217;ble CM of our state Smt. Vasundhara Raje Ji. Doorva\u2019s NGO works for underprivileged women by providing them with vocational training and arranging for free education for their children at her school. During the pandemic, WIN joined hands with two NGOs \u2018Feeding Hands\u2019 and \u2018We Can Give Them Hope\u2019 to provide meals to people who were gravely affected by COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Immensely passionate about horticulture, Doorva started her own line of exotic plants called \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/grun_gift_a_plant_gift_oxygen\/?hl=en\">GRUN<\/a>\u2019, and all the proceeds from GRUN go towards funding the activities of her NGO. She has also worked on lucrative landscaping and horticulture projects for big business houses such as ICICI.<\/p>\n<p>An ardent baker ever since she was a child, Doorva started baking professionally during the lockdown and taking orders to deliver to people\u2019s doorsteps. \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/the_scrumptious_slice\/?hl=en\">The Scrumptious Slice<\/a>\u2019 by Doorva makes a variety of cakes and savouries for others to indulge in.<\/p>\n<p>Doorva gave her very first motivational speech a friend of hers invited her to address a gathering of 250 women officers and constables at the Police Headquarters in Jaipur, and she has not looked back since.<\/p>\n<h2>Dreams Achieved<\/h2>\n<p>A teacher, a principal, an entrepreneur, an activist, a horticulturist, a baker, a food blogger. Doorva is fearless in chasing her dreams relentlessly and cultivating her own growth.
