
Surat, on Friday, witnessed a slew of skit,drama, dance performances by young kids and students of various schools at VR Mall Surat in an event ‘ Say no to drugs ‘, organised by Youth Nation. An initiative to obliterate drug abuse amongst the Surti youth.Youth Nation is a Surat based NGO run by some proactive Surtis who wish to bring upliftment and development to the nation by empowering the youth.

Appalling performances by the school kids via dance, dramas and skits entertained the audience and each act effectively sent out the message of eradicating drugs very effectively.The competition was judged by Mr. Yazdi Karanjia and Mrs. Sonal Vaidya.Also spotted was the caste of the movie ‘ Thoda luft thoda ishq’.


Some of the eminent personalities like Mrs. Darshana Jardosh (MP), Mr. Harsh Sanghavi (MLA), Shri Vallabhbhai Savani, Mr. Yazdi Karanjia, Mrs. Sonal Vaidya etc graced the event with their presence and supported the cause.
” I was a chain smoker and someone made me quit smoking 3 years back on the same day (i.e. International day against drug abuse). Let’s all get together and pledge for a drug free Surat”, said Harsh Sanghavi.
