Starting in 2005 right after completing her secondary education has given Tapsi a solid 13 years of experience in this field. Her interest in the field piqued when she saw the show ‘Kosmic Chat’ featuring Sunita Menon. There was something about the Oracle decks that attracted her. She took to practising Cartomancy herself for over a year making predictions for her closed ones and her family members. All the predictions that she made would turn out to be accurate, that’s when she found her calling. She moved on to train under Sonal Verma, a tarot card reader on Aaj Tak who has an experience of over 30 years. Under her, Tapsi cleared all her doubts and got to know to learn more about the world of tarot. The mother of a 17-month-old son is also a jewellery designer and holds an MBA in Finance.
Books cannot teach this art and it is more about being intuitive, is what she believes in. Her parents, husband and sister were a strong source of support through it all. Her sister was the one who helped give wings to her dreams. Not being able to find the cards anywhere in Jaipur, her sister got it for her from Chandigarh.
