 Mr. Abhishek Saboo, the man who took us to the mystical land of molecular gastronomy and brought us the finest dining experience the city could have. Setting a benchmark for the city and its restaurants in October 2012, World Platter created an unparalleled food experience for Surtis. In conversation with Mr. Saboo we discovered how passion, curiosity and intuition directed him to bring us the preeminent – World Platter.

A management post graduate from London, Mr.Saboo had an innate interest in food. He quotes,”I am a big foodie”. Travelling overseas exposed him to various international cuisines. Love, interest and understanding of food developed over the years. Returning to his home city he realized that a city that loves food so much wasn’t exposed to cuisines other than Indian and Chinese. That’s when the idea of taking the taste buds to a World Tour crossed his mind.

The risk to get 6 cuisines under one roof was definitely worth it. Connoisseurs of fine taste and niche crowd are World Platter’s potential customers. Major footfalls include people who love experimentation and are all in for tongue thrilling experiences. Mr. Saboo describes that consistency, innovation and customer satisfaction is what helps them retain their customers at World Platter. He recalls that one of the best feedbacks he ever received was that a customer had been visiting the restaurant every week for the past 3 years. He orders the same dish and has the same experience every time, proving World Platter to be an epitome of exemplary performance and consistency.

Mr. Saboo juggles effortlessly amidst his different businesses. A textile business and a restaurant outlet work in perfect synchronization under his supervision. Nevertheless, he makes sure he is home by 9 pm everyday which gives us serious work goals. He knows how to balance the game.

We congratulate World Platter, a place that distinctly brings the World on our plates for completing its 4th Anniversary this October. Also a big thank you to Mr. Saboo for giving us a World Class experience.

    I am fan of Ur restaurant and menu but I have only one complaint/ suggestions that please improve the taste and softness of paneer tikka it was good but not upto the mark of Ur restaurant standard and was not worth the price
