InOut 2.0- SVNIT Surat is hosting India’s biggest student run Hackathon

cover

“It all started in the month of January 2015. I was having a conversation with my friends regarding Indian Startup Culture & Silicon Valley(San Fransisco). While having discussion I realized that none of the Indian Technical Institutes or Universities(IITs, IIITs or NITs) host a large scale student run Hackathon unlike MIT, University of Michigan (http://mhacks.org/), University of Pennsylvania or Harvard etc” is what Shakti Goap had to say when asked about how did InOut come into existence.
On 31st October, 2015, he and his other team mates are putting up the biggest ever student run Hackathon that the country has ever see, at SVNIT, Surat.

In this age of cyberwars and cyberpunks, there’s this realm of digitized world that exists, that most of us aren’t exactly aware of. We see only the surface of it, but there’s this ever expanding realm of infinite arrangements, permutations and combinations of binary zeros and ones that exist, and Hackathons have always played a nurturing role in letting innovations and new approaches see the light of the day.
Hackathons provide a venue for self-expression and creativity through technology. People with technical backgrounds come together, form teams around a problem or idea, and collaboratively code a unique solution from scratch — these generally take shape in the form of websites, mobile apps, and robots. The first edition of InOut took place in April 2015, and the feedback and support has lead to InOut’s second edition getting manifested.

At this edition of InOut, teams of coders and developers shall come together for 30 hours, letting their minds flow freely, take new directions and attain the maximum possible levels of innovation, working towards creating a better world around us in all ways possible.
