Led by Kashish Ochani, the Yellow Brick Route is coming up with an exhibition which will showcase exclusive hand-made furniture made from reclaimed wood. From the elegant grillwork of garden seating to the stoic classic styling of writing tables, Ochani clan of skilled artisans have handcrafted a wide range of home furnishings for many elated customers. Crafted for people with rich yet subtle taste, YBRs furniture are like heirlooms. After recently exhibiting their collection in Baroda which included a wide range of furniture and decor items, they are coming to Surat to exhibit from 25th to 27th February 2017, at Science City Auditorium, Citylight.

The Story and Belief:

Like all things nice, this one also has a fairy tale backdrop. In the classic tale of ‘Wizard of Oz’, the lost protagonist Dorothy followed the yellow brick road and found her way back to home.

To Dorothy, the yellow brick road was a symbol of all the good things to come- of home and everything that it stands for- hope, beauty, comfort, affection and a sense of well being. This thought is the very heart of The Yellow Brick Route and its philosophy. They believe that your home is an extension of you and needs to reflect your essence and unique sense of style and refinement, where you can find joy and warmth.

The Curator:

After years in the rough and rumpled world of Finance, Kashish Ochani decided to take some time off, to spend more quality time with her family and her young children. It turned into a phase of transformation and change for this young leader; with newfound motherhood, came a new wave in her vision and ultimately her career.

As she started setting up her new home, bit by bit, the task grew into a passion and that passion grew into a path; a path that led her to discover her penchant for creating elegant home spaces with her excellent taste in home décor – and thus The Yellow Brick Route was born.
