The first one to arrive and the last one to leave the office, Gattubhai is one of the most disciplined businessmen, who religiously adheres to his time schedules.

The son of a small cycle shop owner in Lalgate, Gattubhai started his career with Rs. 1.5 lac capital and a small shop in the textile market. Without any experience in the industry, he learnt the tricks of the trade while doing business and gradually started Vishal Prints in the year 1994.

He brought a lot of innovation into the business. He was the first person to introduce catalogues, the first one to get embroidery machines and the first one to introduce digital printing in Surat. He is considered to be a trendsetter in terms of innovation and technology in the textile industry. From 1996 to 2004, he was the only one who was making catalogues and according to him this has really been a booster in his business and career.

He has always had a monopoly in the end- to- end product. From the stage of yarn to weaving to printing to the final Saree, everything is sourced in-house as per strict quality norms. Not once in these twenty years has he thought of compromising on quality so as to increase the production or to reduce the cost.

Another first is Vishal Prints’ tie up with ace designers like Manish Malhotra, Neeta Lulla, Rocky S, Vikram Phadnis, Archana Kochhar, Rohit Bal to introduce some of the best designs to the mass market at affordable prices.There has been no looking back since then . Another impeccable step was launching his catalogue with big banners and movies like Dabbang 2, M.S. Dhoni, R. Rajkumar, Jai Ho, Holiday etc and this came out to be his another first in the Textile industry.
