Sneha Gandhi – Designing cards that make memories for life

Who says traditional has to be conventional all the time? Who says contemporary and classic stroke of art cannot fit into one piece? Who says invitation cards are mere invites? Sneha Gandhi defies the idea of summoning loved ones and the world to your special day, be it weddings or corporate product launch, her designs and concept cards are going to surprise and impress any group of guests.

• How and when did it start?

Sneha Gandhi, being a Gujarati grew up seeing typical Kankotri (wedding invites) designs that landed at her place every wedding season. With monotony nudging her and creative urges brewing, she one day decided to change the course of standard card designs and that’s how Capstone Media was born. After her very first order of invitation cards for a baby shower function, she has come a long way, with the only creative firm in the industry to design exclusive concept-oriented corporate cards and boxes.

• What was the motivation behind it?

The major reason to bring in Capstone Media, was to break the chain of boring, outdated designs that were flooding the market at that time. Therefore, each card that she has designed till date is not just creatively refreshing but it is also exclusively customized and personalized according to the need of the clients. And this drive to create something new every time keeps her motivated.

• Challenges faced:

People are usually apprehensive to trust new concepts and startups and the hesitancy doubles if they have to trust the same, for anything related to their once-in-a-lifetime events like wedding, so initially it was difficult to hit it off. But once the intricate and creative designs were acknowledged, there was no turning back. From wedding to baby showers, from festival celebrations to corporate meets, Sneha designs for every event.

• Future Plans:

After getting a lot of inquiries and response from Ahmedabad, Indore and Mumbai, Capstone Media will be seeing it’s franchises there in a few years down the line.

• On the parting note she said: “A wedding card is the first impression of an entire wedding and the only thing that is sent to guests for keepsake and hence it should be a perfect reflection of who you are and what that event means to you.”
